About Me

Hello! My name is Tanya Sachdev and I am mental health professional. I graduated In MSc Clinical Psychology from Cambridge, United Kingdom. I am driven and motivated psychologist with a diverse experience in mental health industry. I have worked with diverse population groups in India as wellas United Kingdom. I am well trained in helping people of various cultures, age groups, ethnicgroups, genders (male, female and transgender), and sexual orientation (heterosexual and homosexuals).

My expertise lies in clinical child psychology, helping elderly people and people belonging to LGBTQ+ group.I have worked with addiction, sexual abuse, obsessive-compulsive disorder, anxiety, depression,anger, personality disorders, learning disabilities, etcetera. I am certified trainer in dealing with clients suffering from Post-traumatic stress disorder, Traumas and Phobias using rewind therapy. Ihave experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Solution Focused therapy, Client- centered therapy, Relaxation techniques, and Emotion focused therapy, as well as Dance movement therapy.

My most commonly used therapy is client centered therapy because I believe clients are the expertson their lives and determine the direction and depth of therapy. Through a strength based andsolution-focused lens, I help clients in identifying strengths and developing treatment plans thataccomplish their goals.

Outside of my work as a therapist, I practice yoga and mantra meditation. I also enjoy reading spiritual books and biographies, playing with pets, spending time in nature, and traveling to new places.
