About Me
I am an NCAHP Counselling Psychologist with international training and over five years of experience across occupational rehabilitation, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), and private practice. I completed my Bachelor of Psychology from Macquarie University, Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced from Monash University, and Master of Professional Psychology from the Institute of Social Neuroscience. I work with individuals facing emotional, occupational, and transitional challenges, providing structured and evidence-based psychological support.
I support individuals experiencing low mood, anxiety, stress, burnout, emotional overwhelm, workplace difficulties, interpersonal concerns, and major life transitions. My work focuses on strengthening emotional regulation, building sustainable coping strategies, and enhancing resilience and psychological flexibility in both personal and professional settings. I also value culturally sensitive therapy, ensuring that each client feels respected, understood, and supported within their unique background and lived experiences.
My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) along with mindfulness-based practices to help clients better understand their emotional and behavioural patterns, regulate emotions, and respond to challenges more effectively. I believe people have a natural ability to adapt, cope, and rebuild even during difficult times, and therapy can help bring greater clarity, awareness, and choice into their lives.
For me, therapy is not only about reducing distress but also about building long-term skills and self-understanding that continue beyond the therapy room. I see the therapeutic process as collaborative, practical, and growth-oriented, helping individuals develop resilience, stability, and healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges.
Why I became a psychologist
I believe people have a natural capacity to adapt, cope, and rebuild even in the face of pressure. Psychology allows me to turn that belief into something practical, helping people understand their inner world and respond with greater clarity and choice.
