I’m a Counselling Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and experience across clinical, hospital, school, and research settings. My professional journey has involved working with psychological assessments, mental health support, and individuals experiencing a diverse range of emotional, behavioural, interpersonal, and psychological concerns. Through my clinical training and practical experience, I have developed a deeper understanding of the importance of an individualised and empathetic approach to mental health. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where individuals feel comfortable expressing themselves, exploring their experiences, and gaining a better understanding of their emotions and challenges. I aim to help individuals make sense of their experiences, recognise their strengths, and work towards meaningful personal growth at their own pace.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Honours) from SRM University, followed by a Master’s degree in Psychology from Panjab University, along with a Diploma in Guidance and Counselling. I am committed to continuously expanding my knowledge and strengthening my professional skills through ongoing learning, training, and development opportunities. This allows me to broaden my understanding of psychological well-being and bring a thoughtful, adaptable, and well-rounded perspective to my counselling practice.
I have gained experience across clinical, hospital, and school settings, working with individuals experiencing diverse psychological, emotional, and behavioural concerns. My professional journey includes clinical training at Fortis Hospital, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, and PGIMER Chandigarh, where I worked with diverse populations. I have also explored different therapeutic modalities through courses and training and remain committed to continuous learning and professional development to strengthen my understanding of counselling and psychological well-being.
I believe therapy is a safe space where you can openly talk about whatever you are feeling without the fear of being judged, questioned, or misunderstood. Sometimes, you don’t need someone to give you advice or find a solution for you; you just need someone who is willing to listen and understand. For me, therapy is about creating that space where you can express yourself freely, feel heard, and work collaboratively towards understanding and dealing with your concerns in a healthier and more meaningful way.
