About Me
I am Kanika Kapoor, a Counselling Psychologist with an M.Sc. in Counselling Psychology from SGT University, Gurugram. My professional journey has been centred around supporting children, adolescents, and young adults in understanding their emotions, building resilience, and improving their overall emotional well-being.
My training began as a wellbeing intern at CALM Spaces, a holistic wellbeing unit at SGT University, where I participated in psychoeducational programs, mental health awareness initiatives, and observed counselling practices under professional supervision. These experiences strengthened my belief in creating safe, supportive, and non-judgmental spaces where individuals feel comfortable expressing themselves.
An academic exchange programme in the United Kingdom further enriched my understanding of person-centred counselling and culturally sensitive approaches to mental health. Currently, I work closely with schools, supporting children and adolescents through emotional, behavioural, and academic challenges while promoting mental health awareness within educational communities.
